MANILA, Philippines – A man is still in critical condition after his neighbor shot him in front of his 4-year-old son on Thursday morning in Makati City.

Mark Aries Lajom sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach and remains in critical condition in a hospital.

Police arrested the suspect, 40-year-old Arnold Alyibe.

The incident happened past 8 a.m. in front of a convenience store along Pertierra Street in Barangay Poblacion.

Alyibe allegedly shot Lajom in front of the victim’s son after a heated argument.

Senior Superintendent Manuel Lucban said they recovered a .45 calibre gun that the suspect used in the incident. Maan Macapagal, ABS-CBN News
